What if the problem isn't that life is too busy... but that we've been acting as if our time, energy, and attention are unlimited?
The Small Bucket Mindset introduces a simple but powerful idea: each of us carries a small bucket through life. Inside it are the things that matter most-our time, energy, love, and attention.
The challenge isn't filling the bucket. The challenge is deciding how we spend what's already inside.
Through personal stories and thoughtful reflection, David Ray explores how easily we drift into patterns that look successful from the outside but leave us feeling disconnected from who we truly are. Careers that don't fit. Relationships built on expectation instead of authenticity. Days spent reacting instead of living with intention.
This book invites readers to pause and reconsider how they are using the limited resources life gives them. It explores the difference between living by default and living deliberately-and why clarity about what matters most can quietly change everything.
The Small Bucket Mindset isn't about productivity hacks or chasing perfection. It's about awareness, honesty, and making small but meaningful choices that bring our lives back into alignment.
When we recognize that our bucket is small, we begin to treat what's inside it differently.
