It's about movement-across borders, through heartbreak, beyond expectations, and into freedom.
Born to globe-trotting parents and launched into international life at the tender age of six-shortly after the devastating loss of her brother-Sandy's life has always been in motion. From boarding school trips across Europe to family Christmases in Hong Kong, her earliest memories are stitched together by suitcase zippers and departure gates.
But The Travel Lounge Life isn't just a memoir. It's a guidebook for the soul.
Through beautifully-told chapters, Sandy shares how travel became her healer, her teacher, and ultimately, her calling. From expat life in Germany, motherhood in North Carolina, solo chapters on the West Coast, to love and reinvention in New York-each chapter unpacks a journey not just across the globe, but inward.
Now a travel mentor and founder of Just Travel with Sandy, she's helped hundreds of women transform the way they experience the world-and themselves.
Whether you're new to travel or a seasoned flyer, this book will invite you to: • Travel with confidence-even if you've never left your hometown • Pack lighter, both literally and emotionally • Discover your personal rhythm for exploring with joy, not overwhelm • Feel seen, supported, and inspired by real stories from the skies
It's a celebration of seasoned women stepping into their next chapter-one that starts with a boarding pass and ends with self-discovery.
Welcome to The Travel Lounge Life. Your seat is waiting.
