Their population has decreased due to loss of habitat mainly because of deforestation and disruption. Found in a relatively small area, any disruption to their environment such as human settlement or removing their main food sources is a threat to their ultimate survival. Monitoring this species and continuing conservation efforts for these beautiful elusive creatures is essential.
