A random act of violence...When a senseless act of violence shatters her perfect world, Dr. Isabelle DiStefano struggles to rebuild: new life, new job, new man.
A second chance at love...But sometimes the past can be hard to get rid of, especially when old flame Luca Santoro reappears in her life and decides he wants to start over...this time, for keeps.
Please note: While this is the third book in the Doctors of Rittenhouse Square trilogy, each book can be read as a stand-alone.
However, the books do share the following:1. Characters - the hero and heroine of each book return as supporting characters in other books.2. Setting - Philadelphia and environs. Some of the heroes/heroines may spend time elsewhere (e.g. in This Time for Keeps, Isabelle and Luca visit Amalfi-a town in southern Italy that Luca calls "heaven on earth"); Philadelphia, however, remains central to the story.3. Happy ending. Angst may be all well and good, but for me, it's the happily-ever-after that makes a love story worth reading.
