Evanee Shepherd, forensic pathologist, great-granddaughter to Death himself, and future queen to all creatures of death, thought she'd escaped the sinister grip of Aeternum Labs and the suffocating threads of Fate's design. Until the first body appeared in her morgue.Three bodies. Three warnings. The Vampire Council has spoken. Evanee will pay the price for Prince Erick Tenebris's defiance. The Dacian Priests are coming-ruthless executioners who never miss their mark. There's no running. No hiding. If Evanee falters, she won't just be their next victim-she'll be their ultimate message. True love comes at a cost. With ancient enemies circling, Evanee must unite Death's people and help forge alliances with those sworn to destroy them. Survival won't just require power-it will demand a love strong enough to defy the gods themselves. Born and raised in South Africa until the age of 17, Tammy S Petersen now resides in beautiful Far North Queensland, Australia. She has been a story teller since a young age but had never explored writing creatively until the birth of her first child in 2014.After taking a Creative Writing course in 2015, she fell in love with the challenge and creativity associated with fictional writing. Moribund came about after one of her crazier than normal dreams that then blossomed into the first book in the Evanee Shepard series. After taking a short break from writing in 2017 for the birth of her daughter, she soon sat back down to complete Moribund. In between reading and writing, she loves to hear from readers and authors alike.
