About
Ava Farah lives in New York City but spends her summers on the sun-soaked shores of Shea Beach with her parents and her best friend/cousin Jess. Her summers were predictable till she turned 15 and reconnected with Alex, the charming blue-eyed boy from her past. What begins as an innocent romance quickly deepens into a relationship she's always wanted until it doesn't.The familiar ache of not feeling enough starts to return a shadow she's known all too well from her distant and often critical father.Over two transformative summers, Ava navigates her first love, losing herself and the strength it takes to confront the darkness creeping into her life and reclaim who she truly is.
