At an age many consider a time for slowing down and retreat, Nahla chose to begin-not from scratch, but from the very moment where time had long stood still. Fifty years did not extinguish the spark of her dream. It flickered quietly in the depths, postponed, concealed, but never dead.
In a foreign land, on cold soil, she decided to rekindle the flame of warmth. She enrolled in university, carrying a student's bag and sitting in a classroom that did not match her age-but mirrored her resolve. Nahla, the heroine who refuses to surrender to excuses, walks her path through the frost of Canada, carrying in her heart the warmth of the East, and in her hand a pen that records defeats and triumphs, beginnings and rebirths.
When the Soul Shines is not a personal memoir-it is a mirror for everyone whose dream was delayed, and who feared that time had betrayed them.
