How would you cope if you were accused of a number of serious sexual offences of which you knew you were innocent?
Martin Billington is a contented family man, living in a peaceful village, and blessed with a job he loves. On the face of it he has it all. Then, on the day of his twentieth wedding anniversary, he discovers the police want to talk to him...
From then on, Martin finds himself plunged into a nightmare world. Having had it all, he now faces losing it all. And so begins a journey which proves to be more devastating than he could ever have imagined, but also, in turn, unexpectedly transformative and enriching.
This heart-warming story explores the dreadful consequences of being falsely accused and the assumptions and prejudices that can so easily follow, but celebrates the healing power of making a positive difference in the lives of the disadvantaged, and the liberating qualities of honesty and openness in our dealings with others.
