A Cautionary Tale to Anyone Doing Business in China "Over the years we came to realize that China would always be a place of mystery and unanswered questions. It is a land of contradictions with many faces. We experienced the best of China, its people, its children, and its rich cultural history, and we also experienced the worst-treachery, subterfuge, and criminal activities. The Chinese have perfected the art of manipulation. We always knew we were being manipulated, but of did not know by whom, or why. This is our story. While it has been more than thirty years since we left China, our experience is as relevant today as it was then."
