About

Like a stream gives and grows, on this earth, sweet milk flows.
Follow along on this lyrical journey to discover the many kinds of milk produced around the world. From the more familiar cow and goat milk, to oat milk, rice milk, coconut milk and more. AHHH, MILK! takes young readers on a geographical and culinary journey that crosses cultures and highlights the way milk brings people together.
Combining rhyming text with vibrant, richly-colored illustrations, this book will leave readers amazed at all the ways milk is made and consumed in communities around the world. It explores themes of sharing and the interdependency of all living things, making it an ideal addition to classrooms, elementary Life Science curricula, library story times, and more. Abbe is the author of ten nonfiction children's books written for the educational market. As a former teacher, Abbe wrote plays, puppet scripts, and stories to keep her kindergarteners learning and laughing.
