About

Dixie wanted just one thing in life: to be, loved. It was lonely growing up in a family that didn't seem to want her. So when, she met a young man, she felt she had met the love of her life. There was just one problem.
In small-town USA in the 1950s, some things were just unacceptable, embarrassing, and devastating, especially to a prominent family such as Dixie's. The teenage daughter of an ivy league college professor was pregnant. Rejected by her family, separated from the young man she was in love with, Dixie saw no way out. With unsurmountable, pressure she found herself facing a terrible choice: abort the child and go on as though nothing had ever happened, or have the baby, separated from her family and alone.
From the sterile unwed mothers' home, to the shores of California, where relationship after relationship fell apart, Dixie's continual prayer, "God, just let me know my son is okay," became a daily cry she felt could never be answered.
All Life Matters is the story of rejection, courage and a chain of miracle events that bring a little boy and his mother back home again.
