Robert Noland began his writing career as a songwriter in 1983, penning lyrics for artists such as Babbie Mason, Paul Smith, and Gabriel. His most notable credit was writing the lyrics for Glen Campbell's last Christian radio single entitled The Best is Yet to Come from The Boy in Me album. Robert then spent the next ten years as a full-time touring musician and producer. He wrote his first series of Bible studies in 1988 and in 1991 his first Christian devotional book for a parachurch ministry.
