About

No one meant to do it. But much of the church in the West has become quite narrow in its thinking. Parts of Scripture don't fit into its framework. Exciting parts. But they are left largely unexplored. What a shame, when they reveal so much of the wonders of God.

Many people in the fast-changing Western society are becoming interested in the spiritual significance of things like governments, earth-connection, evil forces, healing, wholeness-even dragons! But many Christians don't seem to realize that the Bible has plenty to say about such issues.

Here is an invitation: an opportunity to dig into some of these exciting and pressing themes of Scripture-without turning into a crazy eccentric. After all, they are things that Christians elsewhere in the world believe readily, and Christians throughout history have taken seriously.

Some of the subjects are sensitive; others perhaps controversial. But since when was the word of God safe? And since when was the Christian life supposed to be comfortable? This book is to help the curious engage with Bible truths on the Bible's terms, not Western cultural terms. Readers will find their lives turned back into the adventure they're supposed to be.
