Challenging Eternal Torment - A Rational Perspective On "Hell
I have spent 30 years studying and preparing to refute the popular Christian doctrine of eternal conscious torment. This exegesis provides a rational Biblical defense to answer the question, " How can a God of Love cast someone into 'Hell' and allow them to suffer throughout eternity? I prove that the concept of "eternal Hell" is based on a fallacy - not facts. The concept of eternal torment has turned many people against God.
The Bible teaches us to be merciful, love our enemies, and treat others as we would want to be treated. Didn't Jesus, God with us, embody these principles during His time on earth? So where does Hell fit into these eternal truths? Can Hell and eternal bliss co-exist? The Christians should be prepared to give a defense for the hope that is in them. The concept of eternal torment has turned many people against God.
