"R. David Fulcher crafts a heady mix of connection that surges through life's currents and eddies with an astute eye to capturing their underlying influences and meaning...The poems are delivered with the thrust and power of possibility, driven as much by emotion as philosophical perception." -MIDWEST BOOK REVIEW HOWLING IN THE VOID is the latest poetry collection by R. David Fulcher. It blends myth, memory, and modern disquiet. This collection is an exploration into grief, desire, aging, love, and disruption told through poems that toggle between haunted interiors and landscapes that vastly differ. Ancient gods linger beside everyday moments; beauty and terror exist in a fragile, uneasy balance. At once intimate and cosmic, these poems confront what it means to feel deeply in a reality that offers no guarantee of resolution. Fulcher's voice is lyrical, unflinching, and grounded in the traditions of mythic and speculative poetry while remaining uniquely his own. HOWLING INTO THE VOID is for those souls willing to step into a shadow world-where the howl itself becomes an act of defiance.
