About

The purpose and mission of my writing this book is to bring awareness to parents, especially single parents, about Childhood Sexual Abuse. I have shared my story hoping that it will ring the alarm in homes where there are children on how Childhood Sexual Abuse is a silent, invisible killer in our community. I decided to shine a light on how Trauma from Childhood Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Sexual Abuse affects and translates with Adult Survivors. The effects are sometimes so severe that they can cause a victim to have mental health issues, develop a drug or alcohol addiction, and occasionally even commit suicide. I believe we need to have more conversations and interventions to save our children. I have written this book for the purpose of helping victims of Childhood Sexual Abuse recognize they may need help to heal from the trauma of Abuse. Also, to inform parents that a Pedophile doesn't have a specific look. A Pedophile could be anyone, a man, a woman, a family member, a family friend, somebody in authority, a mentor, the babysitter, or a stranger. I decided to do what the Lord has purposed me to do: have the hard conversations and talk about the difficult topics in our community. The stories in this book have been shared to heal wounds of the past. I believe when God releases a testimony, He is ready to heal those that are hurting.
