About

If It Had Not Been for the Lord is the companion book to The Seed of My Womb. The two books look at a life-altering injury from the perspective of a son (Wendell M. Manigault Jr.) who was nearly, killed in an accident and his mother (Paulette M. Vanderhorst, The seed of my Womb) who offered her loving support. In this compelling autobiography, he details life before his injury, after his injury, and the incident that led to it. By sharing his story, his goal is to reverse the mistakes of his past by having a positive impact on the lives of today's youth. His hope is that they begin to reevaluate their ways of living, refrain from making the same mistakes and poor decisions he made throughout his upbringing, and are able to work towards change.
