Commemorating the life of a WWII veteran, "Legacy of Love" was initially written about LaVerne McIntyre, author Dennis McIntyre's father. The horror seen at Normandy and two purple hearts left him returning with only one dream and a life of normalcy. That dream was fulfilled when he married Rae Wyland, who bore him three sons. Suddenly, tragedy struck, and his life was turned upside down Perseverance and love triumphed. Dennis also added the legacy of his beloved wife of thirty-eight years.
