D'abord, découvrir l'univers fantastique belge francophone de Jean Ray, afin d'examiner chez Jean Ray, l'essence du fantastique, par le biais de son recueil de nouvelles fantastiques Le Grand Nocturne. Cet ouvrage a aussi pour but d'examiner des traits de la belgitude, autrement dit, de dévoiler, dans quelle manière la crise identitaire nationale chez Jean Ray, un écrivain belge, se reflète.
Ce livre met en lumière le génie de l'auteur belge Jean Ray et démontre également les rapports entre la littérature fantastique belge francophone de Jean Ray et le mouvement historique de la belgitude.
Littérature Fantastique Belge Et Belgitude has a dual objective: first, to discover the Francophone Belgian fantastic universe of Jean Ray, in order to examine the essence of the 'fantastic' in his works, through his collection of fantastic short stories Le Grand Nocturne; and second, to examine the traits of 'belgitude', in other words, to reveal how the Belgian national identity crisis is reflected in the works of Jean Ray.
This book highlights the genius of the Belgian author Jean Ray and also, explores the relationship between francophone Belgian fantastic universe of the author Jean Ray and the historical movement of belgitude.
