About

Synopsis: My vision, mission, and passion in life have been to help young people become the best they can be, so I wrote this book to help them live according to God's purpose in their lives. I am also the co-author of a curriculum called Mind Over Matter and Game Changer. The curriculum helps young people to be critical thinkers. I thank God for using me with young people because I have always loved working with them. I wish all young people the best in learning how to live a life pleasing to God by fulfilling His purpose in life.
Autobiography: Dr. Dawn M. Cobb-Fossnes has been in the field of education since 1980 as a high-school math teacher, guidance counselor, and principal. She has worked both in private and public schools, has been a workshop speaker at several teacher conferences, and was the co-founder of a private school that included international students. In addition to earning a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction/Special Education from Liberty University, she also holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership/Administration from Cairn University and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Southeastern University. Dr. Cobb-Fossnes is the founder of Melody Ministries, Inc., which is a non-profit organization that provides a free week of camp for underprivileged boys and girls. The camp was started in 1999 for boys and in 2012 for girls. Also, she is the founder of Initiative in Education, an LLC that promotes her curriculum on critical thinking and her availability for conducting professional development at schools.
