Can Ihon Iraes survive the growing heaviness on his heart? He's already lost so many human loves, he wonders if his kind-the Wolf-Born-are right in their prejudice against the "lesser race." But, how can he not love humans? When returning home to Iraes Valley, Ihon discovers the descendants of his Desi have spent the past few decades remodeling the Iraes House.
Time passes, Ihon moves southward into England, finding friends instead of enemies in this new century.
Ihon travels into France and makes acquaintance with a young lass, who takes his teachings to inspire a nation. Ihon then forms his first pack, but dark times lay ahead. Freedom is not long, enjoyed by any one. The Supreme Council demand Ihon's submission, sending him to uncover the roots of a dark rumor.
A new time brings new beliefs, new connections, new purpose, and even a new world.
Will Ihon ever find peace and joy in an ever-changing world? Can he finally settle down from all his wanderings?
