The Future is Microbial Cordi Akelarre is an exoplanetary cave explorer, down on her luck. After a severe caving injury causes the loss of her legs, the galaxy's big corporations say she's unemployable. So she goes into business for herself. But when Cordi makes the discovery of a lifetime in a far-flung cave, thugs and claim-jumpers show up to steal it away from her. To preserve her discovery, and to save her future, Cordi has to dig deep and use every dirty trick in the book. If she's fails, she's probably dead. But if she's successful, she'll prove once and for all: You don't need legs to kick ass.
