Monique Lhuillier is a Filipino fashion designer and creative director known for her bridal, ready-to-wear and lifestyle brand. She launched her eponymous brand in 1996 and has since established fashion houses in Los Angeles, California, where she primarily works and lives, as well as in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Today, Monique Lhuillier became a renowned brand for bridal gowns, evening dresses, handbags, home furnishing items, and fragrances. She became a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2003 and received the Medal of Honor by the former President of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in 2006.
