In this story, Ms. Wilde is an eccentric teacher who loves to come to class dressed up as her favorite storybook character. She reads to the class with great enthusiasm. She also brings her dog, Oscar, to school as well. When the class decides to perform "Little Red Riding Hood," little Oscar interferes with Ms. Wilde's best laid plans. On the day the costumes are set to arrive, the class gets the wildest assortment of costumes, none of which are right for "Little Red Riding Hood!" Can Ms. Wilde's class figure out what to do in this predicament? Endearing illustrations of Ms. Wilde's class and her mischievous dog accompany each chapter while children decide how to make the absolute best out of any situation.
