Cher fell in love with the brevity and simplicity of the classic 17 syllable Japanese Haiku in grade school and has been writing ever since. To date, her work can be found in a dozen poetry anthologies: She's received numerous "Silver and Golden" Poet Awards, and published 1 children's book: The Adventures of Flatcat and Friends (with 2 more on the way). She likes reading, archery, playing chess, and dancing.
