Growing up in a world under Earth's surface, created as a paradise by those who destroyed the planet above, Natalia learns that most humans, including children, have been replaced by androids and she's next. Though told that going to the surface means certain death, she chooses a potentially fatal escape to freedom over losing her humanity. Her travelling companion is the one boy in the underworld she can't get along with as they face the uncertain future together.
Natalie Triumphs is a criminal defense and civil rights attorney, private investigator, investigative journalist and best-selling author. She is a strong advocate for youth rights, for human rights, for Constitutional Rights and for eliminating the NDAA, the Espionage Act and other unconstitutional laws used to target whistleblowers, journalists and truth-tellers. She has fought for protections for domestic violence survivors, for victims of child trafficking and for vulnerable individuals falsely targeted by the criminal justice system.
