About

Christians can and ought to be agents of social change, shaping culture as "roaring lambs" whose faith infiltrates and impacts their workplace and the world. "The principles of Roaring Lambs and the example set by Bob Briner himself should set our hearts on fire and fill our souls with godly schemes to be a Christian witness throughout culture and among unbelievers. Put another way, we need fire in our bones, love in our hearts, truth in our minds and on our lips, and a stiff backbone for the task before us. Lambs, it's time to roar!" (From the Foreword by Dr Douglas Groothuis, Best-Selling Author, Christian Philosopher, and Apologist, Cornerstone University).

Bob Briner was a leading figure in professional sports management, an Emmy Award-winning television producer, and president of ProServ Television. Briner was the first Western sports executive to enter China after the Cultural Revolution and introduced NBA games to Chinese television. He developed major tennis tournaments in several countries, including Israel, Cuba, South Africa and the former Soviet Union. Briner was also a prolific writer, regularly contributing to the New York Times and Sports Illustrated. His other books include Lambs Among Wolves, and The Management Methods of Jesus. Briner finished his last book, Final Roar, shortly before dying of cancer in 1999. Bob Briner was a devout Christian and in 2003 was posthumously inducted into Indiana Wesleyan University's Society of World Changers as its first member. Bob Briner's greatest legacy may well be the way in which, through his own courageous roar, he helped countless Christians discover theirs. Join their ranks and roar with conviction!

This third printing of the original text of Roaring Lambs comes from The Briner Institute, a not-for-profit organization formed by a network of professionals dedicated to amplifying Bob Briner's vision and mission: calling Christian individuals, organizations, and institutions to foster the development of a positive, values-oriented content infrastructure in the entertainment industry. The Briner Institute is committed to helping the Christian community have a greater impact on culture, specifically through empowering and educating Christian creatives.
