This collection of Mindfulness Practices and Instruments of Peace, written by Julia M. Hayes comes at a time of necessary innovation and person-centered care. SatiSeva-ReImagining Recovery and Support is an essential resource for anyone seeking to compassionately understand and address the negative habits and compulsive behaviors associated with the stressors and trauma of being human.
Whether your negative habit energy is related to drug and alcohol abuse, shopping, social media, gambling, food, work, relationships, sex, or something else these practices are designed to awaken one's inner wisdom to bring you home to your true self. Julia passionately reminds us:
~Addiction is a matter of degree-not a matter of character, will, or choice.~ ~Recovery is a matter of understanding, connection, and practice-not just a measure of abstinence.~
These pages are filled with opportunities for the exploration of self discovery, acceptance, and empowerment.
