Shrii Shiva Sahasranaama Sthothram is the sequel to Shrii Lalithaa Sahasranaama Sthothram, published in September of 2023. Just like the earlier publication, Shrii Shiva Sahasranaama Sthothram is a translation of the thousand names of Shiva, consort of Lalithaadeevii, into simple English from the beautiful but intricate Sanskrit language. Rao wants more people to read, enjoy and benefit from the ancient Hindu Scriptures, enshrined in the Sanskrit language. For this purpose, the author has designed and included a pronunciation chart, with the conviction that it will benefit novices to the Sanskrit language. For easy grasp, Rao has also broken-down complex words (manthraas) into easy-to-understand components. She has also kept the original, unsplit and long manthraas, so that Pandithaas of the Sanskrit language and Veedic scholars with staunch sadaachaaram, may benefit as well. It is the author's sincere hope that this book provides a beacon of hope, joy, and spirituality through difficult times.
