About

Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Book Preview:

#1 The Baptist General Convention of Texas held a statewide conference in 1989, and I went to learn about new church development. I had begun thinking that it was time for me to start a new congregation, and I wanted to know the hardships as well as the pitfalls to avoid.

#2 I was driving to Houston to preach at a church, when I was hit head-on by an eighteen-wheeler. I was thrown from the car and landed on the bridge above the Trinity River. The truck driver didn't see me, and my car was smashed.

#3 I was killed in a accident when I was driving home from work. The truck that hit me was going at least sixty miles an hour, and I was carefully cruising at fifty. The inmate received a citation for failure to control his vehicle and speeding.
