About

What do you know about love? Well, I felt like I knew nothing when I fell for my best friend. So, one summer, I wrote a letter to the person I was in love with. When I gave him the letter, I didn't get the answer I had hoped for. I was met with rejection and disappointment that he wasn't the one. I mean why have all of my friends found love and I am still waiting. Why can't the guy I am in love with just love me back? But, before I got the courage to tell him, I had to begin a journey of self-reflection. I had no idea what I was doing or if I even knew what love was. I didn't have the same love experiences as the people around me, so I felt like I was doing something wrong. I didn't know where to start, so I just started writing. I started writing letters to different people and about different times in my life. This is where the twenty one letters came to life. These letters tell the stories of love from childhood to my early twenties. They tell the stories of what I have found love to be all about. I have felt love through my family, my friends, and the strangers that I have met along the way. Maybe there was more to love than I realized? These letters are full of hope, forgiveness, healing, and redemption. So, come with me as I share my journey of love from birth until now. It may not be the rom-com story of today, but it's the story of how true love changed my life.
