This is a story about Dylan, a young dragon who lived in a faraway land where only dragons lived. One fateful morning he found he had hiccups and they wouldn't stop. This caused terrible problems for Dylan and other dragons. His feiry hiccups had already burnt his mother's washing and melted Lucy's lollipop among other things. Dylan decided he needed to get away to avoid causing more problems and to see if he could find a cure for his hiccups. He set off on his little boat in search for distant lands.
He ended up in a village called Pickeford where he met two freindly children who wanted to help him. It wasn't long before the children could no longer keep their dragon freind a secret, especially one with hiccups! Dylan became a local celebrity in the village and soon everybody for miles around knew about him and his problem and vowed to help cure him. It seemed like nobody could help him, until an unexpected cure was found.
