Somewhere in the middle of America, the government has been doing experiments on the dead. Bringing them back from the dead to see if their brains can still function. Can they form words to speak? Can they do simple math like addition or something more complex like multiplication? Can they still sleep? Can they take orders? Or, Do they give the orders? Born in Tampa, FL, Douglas Dodd's imagination only grew stronger as he aged. Ideas and words filled his dreams-both day and night-never leaving his side. For years, he feared them, but in 2024, he embraced his creativity and published his first book of short stories, Path Into Madness, now an ongoing series. That same year, he launched his poetry collection, Soothing Massage for the Mind, marking the start of another literary journey. Since then, Douglas has accepted that there's no turning back-only new pages waiting to be written.
