A deadly weapon. A working holiday. What could possibly go wrong?Newly promoted and repeatedly injured, Captain Raneth Bayre is drowning in responsibilities. Track down the last missing Weapon of Protection - the Shotput of Power - that's been lost since the day it destroyed its own village.Rumored to be the most violent of the six enchanted weapons, and last seen deep in the almost lawless Newer Kingdom, it may be more than just their lives on the line… especially if the Shotput isn't as dormant as history claims.
