This eBook highlights the diet of pulse and water that Daniel along with his three friends ate for 10 days. The source of this diet is found in the Book of Daniel Chapter 1 vs. 12, in the Bible. Let's discuss what is the hype about pulse. Pulse are plants whose seeds are used as a vegetable and include beans, lentils, soy beans, peanuts, and peas. They are added to stews, soups, dips and other dishes. Lentils and beans in the pulse family have a higher iron content than the others. Also included in this book are nutritional facts about pulse, super foods used, cooking and baking content and menus and recipes. Please read the email sent to all pulse, super foods and everyone in the kitchen inviting them to participate in the cooking and baking contests. The contest has a different theme lately and we learn from our contestants about team work, how to press in and get to the finish line. Menus are done for 10 days with the lunch category featuring recipes from Mexico, India, Greece and other countries. These menus and recipes are nontraditional and feature recipes might not be considered a pulse diet.
