In Women Leaders and Sustainable Development – For a Positive World, Fabi Saad insightfully demonstrates, through a timely and comprehensive study, how women's leadership in the economy, politics, science, and civil society is deeply connected to the sustainable development of nations. For over a decade, the author has been at the forefront of efforts to identify practical and transformative pathways for women worldwide. This research is, in my view, a compelling feminist tool-powerful and indispensable. Drawing from the study of the trajectories of global women leaders, the book presents positive models and innovative strategies that rea rm how gender equality is inseparable from social and environmental prosperity. With originality and clarity, Saad delves into the structural challenges women face, highlighting successful practices that not only expand opportunities but, above all, accelerate gender equality. This work is a call to reimagine and boldly shape equitable pathways that empower women's agency, wherever we may find ourselves.
