In prehistoric times, an alien entrusted 10 powerful Energemas to 10 dinosaurs, and these were lost with their extinction. Now an intergalactic bounty hunter seeks to reclaim the Energemas and destroy the Earth.
In outer space, a monstrous bounty hunter named Sledge chases down an alien named Keeper in an effort to steal the most powerful element in the Galaxy: the Energems.
Sledge works on a master plan to discover where the Rangers are keeping his precious Energems. He sends Scrapper, a monster from his prison, down to earth.
After a nightmare in which Koda relives finding the Blue Energem and saving his little brother from a saber-tooth tiger, he is woken by Kendall in the Ranger Base, showing the Rangers their newest vehicles, the Dino Cycles.
After Chase leaves the grill unmanned and accidentally causes a fire in the Dino Bite café, he's lectured by Kendall on his inability to pay attention. They're interrupted when Moana, a New Zealand fortune teller arrives.
After overhearing Sledge yell at Fury for not being able to deliver any Energems, Poisandra and Curio develop a plan to arrive on Earth, destroy the Power Rangers and take the Energems.
Sledge gives Poisandra her own official mission to retrieve the Ranger's Energem tracking device. She recruits the monster Duplicon, master at cloning, to help her.
